The Boy Hairdressers - Golden Shower 1987

A nice little single this from back in 1987. The Boy Hairdressers were the band that Norman Blake and Raymond McGinley were in before going onto create the great Teenage Fanclub. You can hear from the single the unpolished harmonies that would become a Fanclub trademark. The music overall is reminiscent of the C86 tunes with particular reference to "The Pastels" and "BMX Bandits". Overall, this is a nice little addition for all those Fanclub fans out there who are curious to hear what Norman and Co were up to before they realised that Everything Flows...
